After John Moriarity mentioned Denyce Graves' name, I sent her a photograph of him and she responded with a burst of gratitude, saying: "What a gorgeous photo. Thank you so much for that gift. I ADORE John!!! He is responsible for so much in my career. I love him deeply." Wow. I was amazed at how many famous singers came through this remote place.
